The Victory House
Thank you so much to all of you who have given and prayed for this project. The goal for this project is to raise around $30,000 and we are thrilled to announce that we are only $2500 away from being fully funded! Praise God! The footings have been dug, the concrete has been poured, and the walls are rising on Victory House! Anything that comes in beyond what we need for Victory House will go right to our school construction project. Check out the videos and pictures below to see the progress! This will be a two story apartment building, with 7 two room units, 1 three room unit, and 4 one room units, for a total of 12 different housing units! If you would like to give to this project, please place your donation in the Victory 127 Construction Fund.

Check out the video below to get a glimpse of what God is doing through this ministry!
Hello from our New Partners!
This is a photo of the members of the Fairview Baptist Church in Forest Hill, WV. This small church has come alongside Victory 1:27 in a big way. Not only have they decided to sponsor Shumayiya, but they have also committed to send her through medical school. In the words of one of their members " This is the gift that keeps on giving. Our investment in Shumayiya will not only help her, but will help so many others as well." We are so thankful for these new partners in the ministry!

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress
and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world..” James 1:27 (NIV)
Global orphan facts: Total estimate of orphans worldwide…………153 million. (Source: U.S. Government “5th Annual Report to Congress on Public Law 109-95″ and affirmed by UNICEF) These numbers do not include an estimated 2-8 plus million orphans in institutions, living on the streets, exploited for labor, victims of trafficking, or participating in armed groups. 153 million plus 8 million…….. possibly totaling a potential of 161 million orphans worldwide?
Victory 1:27 was launched in response to very pressing needs expressed by Pastor Herbert Buyondo. The leadership team of Mountain View Chapel in Stanardsville, Virginia sensed that the scope of impact would be larger than just one location. The desire was to create a support network that would enable disadvantaged children and families to gain hope through daily victories of food, shelter, and education that would otherwise be impossible. The foundation was laid in Kampala, Uganda. Victory 1:27 began as a cooperative, non-denominational, Christian effort between Victory Covenant Church and MVC. Cooperative interaction is at the very heart of our outreach efforts. The ministry now has seeds of outreach in the United States, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic.
When God opens a door, we do our best to respond to the need, regardless of the location.
Ugandan Orphan Estimates..................over 2 million
Ecuadorian Orphan Estimates............210,000
Dominican Republic Orphan Estimates...........116,000
