October 2018 Uganda Trip Overview

Thanks to everyone for their prayers and support for our trip to Uganda! See the video below for a glimpse of the team’s time in Uganda.

Victory Primary School

For those of you that haven’t heard, we are building a school! Victory Primary School is currently under Phase 1 of construction, which includes a full working kitchen, brand new bathrooms, and two finished classrooms. The upgraded kitchen and bathrooms are required for the accreditation process, and the classroom space is greatly anticipated as the current students are meeting in various corners of the church. We are also excited to share that we are almost to our $50k goal! If you would like to be a part of this exciting project, click the GIVE button below and place your donation in the Victory 127 Construction Fund.

Check out the Construction Page for more details!

An Overview of Victory 1:27

Check out the video below to get a glimpse of what God is doing through this ministry!

Global orphan facts:  Total estimate of orphans worldwide…………153 million.  (Source: U.S. Government “5th Annual Report to Congress on Public Law 109-95″ and affirmed by UNICEF)   These numbers do not include an estimated 2-8 plus million orphans in institutions, living on the streets, exploited for labor, victims of trafficking, or participating in armed groups.  153 million plus 8 million…….. possibly totaling a potential of 161 million orphans worldwide?

Ugandan Orphan Estimates..................over 2 million

Ecuadorian Orphan Estimates............210,000

Dominican Republic Orphan Estimates...........116,000

United States of America..........120,000 with 400,000 without permanent families

Letter Excerpts from Victory 1:27 Children

January 2019

“I continue to thank you with all my heart for enabling me to go to school. I am studying and hoping to be a useful person to the disabled, the orphans, and the poor.” Julius

“I also think about you all the time and I always pray for you before I go for sleep.” Ashmat

I am totally feeling good because I have everything I would like to have, because they told me that a good parent blesses his son/daughter with God and education and I have it! I think I have it all. May God really bless you and your family.”  Zula

“My prayer always is to grow more in Christ and in all my ways to acknowledge Him because He has done a lot for me.”  Cathryn

“I thank you for the gifts you have given me. May God bless you abundantly. I am really so grateful for your support. I wish I was spending my holidays with you.”  Mark

“I am so blessed to have you as my sponsor. I love you and I pray for your family.”  Pasco

“God loved us so much through His Son Jesus Christ. Likewise, you loved me to take care of my life. Thank you so much. I love you too and I pray for you blessings, long life, prosperity, and God’s mercy upon your work.”  Allan

“Sometimes when it rains, I see it as God is washing away my old times and it’s like God is refreshing me. Thank you for praying for me because your prayers have changed my life.” Joel

“I thank you for my school fees. Many children are seated at home without school fees to study, but I thank God who gave you to me so that I may study to reach my goals in the future.” Faith

“Thank you very much for entrusting part of your wealth to my school fees, for advice, holiday gifts, letters, and the time you devote to my education. Just have it in mind that your daughter in Uganda is making it. Thank you Lord for everything.” Sharon

“I thank the Lord that He is becoming newly born again in our lives this festive season and it is my prayer that He becomes newly born again in your life too. I am grateful for every minute you take while writing to me.” Mathias

“I want to become an engineer and save lives of many in the world by stopping accidents. I will always pray for you until the evening of my life.” Jeremiah

“ I want to thank you for paying my school fees, because I have never been chased from school. Whenever I lose hope, I look at the money you invest in me in school, and I read hard and harder to make you proud of me.” Caroline

“Your generous prayers have managed to keep me going and courageous no matter the challenges my family and I face in life. You gave me the chance to study and explore this world through supporting me in my journey of education.” Judith
